Coverage & PaymentWe work with most major insurance plans and are in-network with the major Southern California carriers. Sliding scale available case-by-case. Call us before you decide you can't afford this.
If we're in-network with your plan, you'll usually have a small copay. If we're not, your out-of-network benefits often still apply. If you're paying out-of-pocket, ask about sliding scale.

Up to 80% reimbursed*
If we're not contracted with your plan, you may still have out-of-network mental health benefits. We provide monthly superbills with the codes (CPT/ICD-10) your plan needs to reimburse you directly.
Reduced fee
We hold a small number of reduced-fee slots for adults without insurance who genuinely can't afford full fee. Eligibility is case-by-case and based on household income.
If you don't see yours below, that doesn't mean we can't help. It usually means we'll bill out-of-network or check whether your plan has an exception.
If you don't have insurance or are paying out-of-pocket, federal law (the No Surprises Act, 45 CFR §149.610) entitles you to a written Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before you start care. We provide one in writing.
Court-ordered anger management programs are typically self-pay — courts don't usually authorize insurance billing for mandated treatment. We're transparent about session and program costs upfront, and our intake coordinator walks you through it.
One call. We'll verify your benefits, walk you through what to expect to pay, and get your first session on the calendar — usually the same week.
* Out-of-network reimbursement varies by plan. The "up to 80%" figure is illustrative of typical out-of-network mental-health benefits and is not a guarantee. The actual reimbursement percentage depends on your specific insurance plan, your deductible status, the service code billed, your plan's "allowed amount" or "usual, customary, and reasonable" rate, the out-of-network coinsurance, any session-limits or pre-authorization requirements, and whether your plan includes out-of-network mental-health benefits at all. Some plans (including many HMO and EPO plans, certain Medi-Cal managed-care plans, and certain self-funded employer plans) may not cover out-of-network services for any amount. Pasadena Clinical Group makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee of any specific reimbursement amount, percentage, or coverage outcome. Please call the member-services number on the back of your insurance card to confirm your out-of-network mental-health benefits, deductible, coinsurance, session limits, and pre-authorization requirements before scheduling any appointment. If you would like, our intake coordinator can help you walk through the questions to ask your insurer — call us at (626) 354-6440.
