Cookie Policy

What cookies we use, why, and how to control them.

Effective date: 2026-05-02 · Last updated: 2026-05-02 · Version: 3.0

1. About this Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy describes how Pasadena Clinical Group ("PCG") uses cookies and similar technologies on anger-therapy-now.com (the "Site"). It supplements our Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions. The Site is informational only; it is not a substitute for professional consultation, evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. Please do not use the Site to diagnose yourself.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

"Cookies" are small text files that a website may place on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixel tags, web beacons, embedded scripts, and software development kits. These technologies allow a site to recognize your device, remember preferences, and (when enabled) gather analytics about how the Site is used.

3. PCG's current approach: privacy-by-default

The Site is configured for privacy by default. PCG does not currently load advertising cookies, cross-context behavioral-advertising trackers, or third-party analytics that identify individual visitors. Because we have minimized our use of optional cookies, the Site does not display a consent banner. We use only strictly necessary technologies and a small number of well-defined third-party embeds described below.

4. Strictly necessary technologies (no consent required under EU/CCPA frameworks)

Strictly necessary technologies are required for the Site to function and are exempt from consent requirements under standard privacy frameworks. PCG uses them only as required for: (a) page navigation and routing; (b) load balancing, security, and abuse prevention; (c) remembering accessibility preferences (e.g., reduced motion) within a single session; and (d) routine server logging required for security and operations.

5. Third-party services that may set their own cookies

The Site loads a small number of third-party services in order to function. These services may set their own cookies governed by their own privacy and cookie policies, not by PCG. We have configured these integrations to minimize data collection where the third party offers such options.

  • Google Fonts — used to render typography. The font files are static; configured to minimize headers and avoid persistent identifiers where the API permits.
  • Google Maps (only on the Contact page, when you scroll to or interact with the embedded map) — used to display the office location. Google may set cookies as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (only on the Contact and Practicum/Career forms) — a privacy-preserving anti-bot challenge that may set short-lived first-party-style cookies on challenges.cloudflare.com while determining whether a submission is automated. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare Workers — the serverless endpoint that receives Contact and Practicum form submissions. Cloudflare may log standard request metadata (IP address, timestamp, user-agent) for security and abuse prevention; it does not set advertising cookies in this role.

If you do not wish to use these third-party services, you may block them at the browser or network level (e.g., via tracker-blocking extensions, content-blocking DNS, or your browser's third-party-cookie controls).

6. Server-side analytics (if used)

If PCG uses analytics, the analytics are configured to be either fully server-side, fully aggregated, or anonymized at the IP level (where supported), with short retention. No advertising profiles or identifiers are built. PCG does not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. How to control cookies through your browser

You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings:

Disabling all cookies may affect basic Site functionality.

8. Global Privacy Control

PCG recognizes the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") browser-based opt-out signal. Where the Site engages in any "sharing" or "sale" of personal information for purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act, a GPC signal will be honored as an opt-out request. As of the effective date, PCG does not engage in such sharing or sale.

9. Do Not Track

Because no consistent industry standard for "Do Not Track" signals has been adopted, the Site does not respond to "Do Not Track" headers. We do honor GPC signals as described above.

10. California "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"

PCG does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. As of the effective date, PCG does not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, this Cookie Policy and our Privacy Policy will be updated and a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism will be made available.

11. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly use cookies to track children. If you believe a child has interacted with the Site in a way that resulted in collection of personal information, contact us so we can remove it.

12. Changes to this Cookie Policy

PCG may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, vendor relationships, or law. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date.

13. Disputes; limitations of liability

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Cookie Policy is governed by the dispute-resolution provisions in our Terms & Conditions, including mandatory pre-suit notice, mediation, binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, class-action and representative-action waivers, jury-trial waiver, choice of California law, exclusive venue in Los Angeles County, and a one-year shortened limitations period, except as such provisions are limited by applicable law.
