Accessibility Statement

We're committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities.

Effective date: 2026-05-02 · Last updated: 2026-05-02 · Version: 3.0

1. Our commitment

Pasadena Clinical Group ("PCG") is committed to providing a website and a physical office that are accessible to people of all abilities, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended ("ADA"), Title III (42 U.S.C. §12181 et seq.); Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794), where applicable; the California Unruh Civil Rights Act (Cal. Civ. Code §51); the California Disabled Persons Act (Cal. Civ. Code §54 et seq.); the California Building Code Chapter 11B; and, with respect to the website, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines ("WCAG") 2.2 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

2. Information-only purpose; no clinician-patient relationship

The website is provided for general information only and is not a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified clinician. Self-diagnosis using website content is dangerous and disclaimed. Mere use of the website does not establish a clinician-patient relationship. The full information-only and crisis disclaimers in our Terms & Conditions apply.

3. Conformance target

The Site aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We have implemented the following accessibility considerations:

  • Semantic HTML and proper heading hierarchy on every page.
  • Color-contrast ratios meeting or exceeding WCAG AA (≥4.5:1 for body text; ≥3:1 for large text, icons, and UI components).
  • Keyboard-navigable interactive elements with visible focus states.
  • ARIA labels on icon-only buttons, dropdown menus, and dialog elements where appropriate.
  • Explicit labels for every form field, with error messages that are programmatically associated with the relevant field.
  • A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
  • Descriptive, meaningful alternative text for content images; decorative images are marked as decorative.
  • Reduced-motion preferences respected via the prefers-reduced-motion media query.
  • Responsive layouts supporting zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • Captions or transcripts provided for any video content embedded directly by PCG.
  • Language attributes (lang) declared for non-English passages where applicable.
  • Assistive-technology compatibility tested with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA), keyboard-only navigation, and standard browser zoom.

4. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include third-party content embedded on the Site, such as the Google Maps iframe on the Contact page and Google Fonts loaded for typography, which conform to their own accessibility standards. We monitor these dependencies and address barriers when reasonably feasible. If you encounter a third-party barrier, contact us and we will provide the information in an accessible alternative.

5. Physical office accessibility

The PCG office at 301 N. Lake Ave, STE 600, Pasadena, CA 91101 is located in a building with elevator access, accessible restrooms, and on-floor accessible parking spaces in the building garage. Service animals are welcome consistent with the ADA. If you require an accommodation for an in-person visit (for example, additional time, an accessible route, an interpreter, mobility assistance, or sensory accommodations), please notify us in advance.

6. Communication accommodations

PCG provides reasonable accommodations for communication, including: large-print intake forms; accessible-format documents on request; sign-language interpretation arranged in advance; phone, email, and text communication options; and telehealth (consistent with our Telehealth Agreement) for patients for whom in-person visits would be a barrier. We work in English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Hindi, Italian, Arabic, and Armenian as available.

7. Feedback and assistance

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the Site or in our office, or if you need assistance accessing any information or service, please let us know. We aim to acknowledge feedback within five (5) business days and to remediate or provide the information in an accessible format as soon as practicable.

8. Auxiliary aids and services

Auxiliary aids and services are available free of charge to people with disabilities to ensure effective communication, consistent with the ADA. Examples include qualified sign-language interpreters, written materials in large print, accessible electronic formats (PDF/UA, accessible Word), assistive-listening systems where reasonably available, and screen-reader-compatible web content.

9. Alternative formats

Information on the Site is available in alternative formats on request, including large print, plain-text, accessible PDF, or accessible Word. Allow up to ten (10) business days for production of complex documents.

10. Procedure for filing an accessibility grievance

If you believe PCG has not provided equal access to its services or website on the basis of disability, you may file a grievance:

  • With PCG's Accessibility Coordinator (contact above). Provide a description of the issue, the page or location, the date, and your contact information. We will investigate and respond in writing.
  • With the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Disability Rights Section: ada.gov; 1-800-514-0301.
  • With the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights: hhs.gov/ocr; 1-800-368-1019.
  • With the California Civil Rights Department: calcivilrights.ca.gov.

11. Continuous improvement; policy review

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. PCG reviews the Site periodically; conducts accessibility checks when major content or design changes occur; and incorporates accessibility into vendor selection. We welcome reports of barriers from any user.

12. Disclaimers and dispute resolution

This Statement is informational. Statutory rights under the ADA, Section 504, the Unruh Civil Rights Act, and other applicable laws are not affected. Disputes related to website use are governed by our Terms & Conditions, which include mediation, binding arbitration, class-action waiver, jury-trial waiver, and California governing law/Los Angeles County venue, except as such provisions are limited or prohibited by applicable accessibility laws.

13. Date of last accessibility review

Last review: 2026-05-02. The Site is reviewed at least annually and after material content or design changes.
